So the new Rocket is here (in TFC form) but a claimed 170ps (late 160s BHP at the crank) seems a bit weedy to me. I mean, low revving normally aspirated car engines have no trouble making 100bhp per litre - why on earth have Triumph been so conservative? They haven't even got anywhere near matching the V-Max - for a 25K bike - yes your read it right ??25K! They've barely crept past the X-Diavel power figures - a V4 version is surely imminent - I bet that makes 200bhp. Sometimes Triumph make some stupid decisions.
